Here, I am making roasted cauliflower for 5-6 people. To make the recipe, I will need the following ingredients.

  • Olive Oil: 2-3 tablespoons

Cooking Instruction Of Roasted Cauliflower In Oven

Cooking roasted cauliflower in the oven will take very little time. Once you are done with preparations, you will need just around 20-25 minutes to get the dish ready. So, even if you have guests waiting at your home or you have to serve a meal within less than an hour, you are all set to go.

  • To make roasted cauliflower, you need to preheat the oven to 420-425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • You also have to line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • You already have the cauliflower cut into small slices/steaks. Now, it’s time to put them in the center of the baking sheet.
  • Next, drizzle melted butter or olive oil on the cauliflower steaks and slices and give them a good toss.
  • Take all the spices in a bowl and make a good mix. Then, sprinkle the spice on the cauliflower steaks/slices and again give them a toss so that they get coated with spice.
  • That’s it! You just need to bake the steaks for around 20-25 minutes. Make sure that the slices are crisp in texture and have a slightly brownish shade.

Expert Tip

Baking time will not be the same for one. Also, you may need to use a little less or more spice for seasoning and coating based on the number of steaks and slices you have.

Further, if you can make the recipe entirely using olive oil.

It is always better to go for a little lighter coating if you are not sure about how much spice you should use.

If the taste is a little bland, you can always add some extra seasoning later. However, if the roasts have much spice or seasoning, it will be difficult for you to balance. You can always add lemon juice to infuse that sour taste into the dish and balance too much salt and spice. But the texture will be gone!

When roasted whole, cauliflower exudes a smoky aroma. It comes from the use of shawarma spice used in the recipe. If you are not a great fan of shawarma spice mix, you can also try any herb mix.

Also, be creative while serving this dish. Many people serve this delicacy with pomegranate seeds.

This soup tastes best when served with a pinch of nutmeg powder and some lemon juice.

Also, don’t forget to add a touch of fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or cilantro as the chef’s kiss.
